The AFL is now nearing that highly anticipated month, September. Everyone is wondering who will make the top 8 and it is time to see who the pretenders and contenders are. I went to the Saints and Cats game yesterday and the atmosphere was amazing. I never heard anything as loud as when Stokes scored that final quarter goal to level the scores. There is a big difference going to the game and watching the game on T.V. I am a Lions supporter living in Melbourne and I used to be full on obsessed with AFL in 01-03 during the glory days. I knew everyones age, weight and height in the AFL ( well 90% :P ). I'm starting to get back into AFL again. I just wanted to see your views on some upcoming games at either Etihad or MCG that are likely to be a close game that I could go to.

Good to see you getting back into footy again.

There's going to be a few big games in Melbourne before the finals.

Dogs v Collingwood next friday night. Both teams are in the top 4 and looking to stay there. Should be a cracker of a game

St Kilda v Dogs, round 17. Dogs are a much improved team since they lost to the Saints earlier in the year. They'll be looking for revenge, and i think they can beat them.

Another Dogs game. Dogs v Cats, round 21. Last time they played, Geelong only won by less than a goal, with a missed shot at goal to Johnno right on the siren. This will be a grand final preview in my opinion.

Victoria holds a million and basically a million Wallabies try each year. Victoria does have some Union followers so one activity a year isnt a huge deal particularly? Plus do no longer forget that the MCG is the ideal stadium in the country so it could be unfair to have Rugby gamers pass over out on enjoying there because of the fact of an AFL monopoly. it is likewise - now i be responsive to this would be a ask your self - yet its additionally a threat to get exhilaration from greater advantageous than between the soccer codes...There I mentioned it...!!!!
