1. Geelong - still think they're the team to beat

2. Collingwood - as close as they'll get to a flag with their current team.

3. Adelaide

4. St Kilda

5. Brisbane

6 Hawthorn

7 Carlton

8 Essendon

9 Western Bulldogs - a surprise tip, but with an ageing side, they might not have the legs at the end of year - still they are tenacious and will give it everything they've got.

10 Port Adelaide - will do well at home, but they have to improve away

11 North Melbourne

12 West Coast

13 Sydney

14 Melbourne

15 Richmond

16 Fremantle

Any of the teams between 6 and 12 could make the 8 in my opinion - I don't believe Sydney can because they lost so many players from last season, and even though Bradshaw is in the side, the newer players will be too "green" and will not be as efficient in the midfield as those teams with experienced midfielders.

Having said that, I've usually been rubbish at prediciting the final 8, so we'll see at season's end.

I think the grand final will be between either Geelong and Collingwood, or Collingwood and Adelaide.

Saint Kilda

Geelong

Adelaide

Collingwood

Top four clubs, Top Four Material. I believe Saints will get revenge in season 2010, hence why I have placed them in first position on the ladder. Geelong again to dominate, but finish second behind the saints. Adelaide and Collingwood will be seperated by less than a game on 3rd/4th.

Western Bulldogs

Brisbane

Hawthorn

West Coast

Doggies to just miss the top four, will have a great start to the season but finish off weakly squeezing into fifth position whilst Brisbane will do what they did last year, dominate through patches of the year - and remember they have Fevola so will defently be looking at a finals berth. Hawthorn to finally get over their premiership hangover and come 7th, eagles to finish 8th.

Carlton

Sydney

Essendon

Fremantle

Port Adelaide

North Melbourne

Richmond

Melbourne

This will be Melbournes last season at the bottom, I cant see Richmond doing well and Carlton to just miss out on the eight due to missing Fevola.

I think it will be a St Kilda Collingwood 2010 Grand final. If not one or the other will play either Brisbane Bulldogs or Geelong.

1- St Kilda...have excellent defence, strong in both mid field and up forward

2- Collingwood..good def, mids better than people think, Fwds could shock the comp.

3- Brisbane .. have potential to be an awesome combination

4- Bulldogs.. def a query, reasonable mids, fwd excellent

5- Geelong.. most evenly balanced side, but injury could be their curse in 2010.

6- Adelaide .. Good def, and mids, up fwd is their question mark

7- Carlton .. def, mids ok , but will fail fwd

8- Sydney .. could shock the comp, great mids, def and fwds, could totally surprise

9 - West Coast .. potential be be the season surprise team, competent def, mid, fwd

10- Fremantle .. def good, mids their worry , fwd competent

11- Hawthorn .. like West Coast could surprise, Burgoyne could be their savior

12 - Pt Adelaide .. poor def, competent mids, and fwd

13- Nth Melb .. excellent def, mids a big query, must improve fwd

14- Richmond .. will be a newlook, need a def, mids reasonable, fwd not exciting

15 -Essendon .. another new look side , could take a year to settle def, mids, and fwd

16 -Melbourne .. excellent young recruits,need a def,mids might improve, fwds fair .
