Kerr is/was going out with Cousins younger sister (melanie cousins), they had fights, but under neath that they get along well.

"In September 2002 Kerr was involved in a fight with team mate Ben Cousins at a Perth nightclub, in which Cousins punched Kerr in the face during the club's end of season celebrations. Later the same night, Kerr pushed Cousins down a flight of stairs, breaking his arm."

That was over 5 years ago, a lot has happened since and they are close mates, if they didn't get along Kerr wouldn't have came out and publicly stated that he wants his mate cousins back at the club.

Edit: Is Kerr going out with Natasha Pozo, i'm sure Cousins was going out with her last year??

Kerr has mentioned he's patched things up with Cousins since that incident at the night club, has mentioned he still keeps in contact with Cousins and has stated him as being a massive influence on his football when he was at WC.

P.S. Kerr broke up with Mel Cousins a while ago. He's going out with Natasha Pozo at present.

Daniel Kerr did go out with Ben's sister at one stage and when they broke up, there was a bit of a fight at a Claremont nightclub that indirectly resulted in Ben getting a broken arm (he broke it falling down some stairs when he left the nightclub). Was just Ben sticking up for his sister and there was nothing much in it other than that and maybe to many drinks....... As far as I know, there was no genuine animosity between the two forveryy long.

Hmmm, I don't know if Collingwood really need those two at the moment, there has been enough trouble at the club! I think these two are fantastic players, but I don't know if Cousins coming to Collingwood is really appropriate at the moment! Kerr would be a great addition to the team, but I wouldn't take both of them, simply because Collingwood also need a new tall forward as well.

Well I didn't see any indication of tension between the pair, but who knows what goes on behind closed doors!

Hate is a pretty strong word... i would say there friendship was strained at times but that is it.
