(i) Ring in the changes week after week??

(ii) Try and stick with the same team to see if they can somehow gel and win a game??

(i) Put your players on notice, let every member of the squad know that their place on the team is in jeopardy because they arent standing up. This is what John Worsfold did...and we beat the dogs :)

Certainly Not Option One!

You've got to try and maintain some Team Stability and Work with what you Have.

Of Course Everyone's on notice, at 0 - 4, that's a Given, but you only Ring in the Changes for Injuries and Poor Form.

If the Wins Don't Start Coming by Mid-Season It's Time to Look in the Mirror!!!

Neither. You make judicious tweaks - sometimes setting an example if effort was down from a player or two, sometimes trying new combinations.

More often the same players in different structures is the answer.

Ringing in changes every week makes it hard as teams tend to practice in groups and they need to be familiar with one another in real game time to gel at training and then put it back on the field.

option (iii) Dress up like the kkk.

You certainly can't ring in the changes week after week. I think there needs to be a compromise. See who is putting in, and if they are not drop them to reserves, bring up some young kids. However once you see who is putting in. Stick with them.

Hopefully Dockers will be 0 and 5 after Saturday. Go the Swans.

My team is 0-4, it's no use trying to stick with the same team and see if they gel, if they can't dispose of the footy properly it's never going to change.

Tambling is soft as butter, can't hit a target, yet he gets dropped for one week and he's back again, north would love this news, Jackson is another who turns it over with almost every disposal, he's a tagger and still gets plenty of it, but he kicks it to no one or a contest every time.

Players who aren't good enough or aren't performing should be left out - if that means making changes every week, than so be it; you're not helping your club any by continuing to use players out of their depth.

Secondly, when things hit rock bottom,it's time to make changes at the top,in the coaching or administration departments. That means you need to look at your head coach and your player recruitment policy - why have you got a list that just can't do it at AFL level in the first place?

Depends which team it is, the two currently in that situation don't have a lot of depth to tinker with anyway.

With the Eagles there are a couple who should be dropped because they didn't do what they were expected to last week...Senior players I mean...Give the young blood a spot ahead of them. You can't do worse than losing all the time :)

Primarily 2) because you want a team that has a game plan that is practiced and it works.

But for that to work you will need 1) because some players are just not meant to be... if they are so out of form.

I think a combination of both to try and get the right recipe for a win. Maybe taking on a second team to barrack for would help. I suggest Geelong because they are the real deal.

A little bit of both

Don't change too much week to week; keep some sense of stability and continuity at the club. However, the players who are performing at a subpar level should be told that they might be replaced if they don't pick up their game.

option 2

its still early in the season and there is still a chance of a couple of wins, even if it looks doubtful...

at about round 8, if the team is still going nowhere, then it would be time for option 1 and give the kids some experience

Change the lineup.

Get rid of the dead wood regardless of who they are. Anyone who can't hit a moving target that's 20 metres away with either hand or foot shouldn't be playing at the highest level.

And the Dockers too Rattle and Hum!

Asterix that would account for HALF the Richmond team, mate.

Cant believe they picked Tambling again, hes been pathetic in the past few weeks

i agree, don't get too cocky. Sid the toddler became approximately 3 inches remote from yet another ankle harm final evening while he hit the boards lower back... so shall we in simple terms enable this play out. i admire the make up of this group... jogs my memory of the ninety's communities... Mario, Jagr, Stevens, Francis must be Crosby, Malkin, Hossa, Malone. Fluerry getting warm like Barrasso. super George27 jogs my memory of the Samualson bros... i like it. the super complication for me is they burn up a ton of capability and exhilaration pounding Ottawa basically to have a enable down in around 2. yet we ought to get there first. G Pens!

stick with the same team, so they can get some experience against good opposing teams. Eventually they will become better and better. (oh are you talking about Richmond or Freo?)

a bit of both

stick with basically the same team but drop those who are continuously under performing.

Put the players on serious notice, like Woosha did. Certainly gave our players a kick up the bum!

A bit of both. Like what we've been doing lately, no changes or just one or two if players are out of form or injured.

If your the Tigers you sack everyone involved with the club and get some people with brains to run the club.
